Inspired by alternative pop, indie rock, classic R&B and soul, Joshel breaks the rules of conventionality through her deep, introspective lyrics and head-turning vocals.
From the heart of Ontario, the Toronto singer-songwriter always had a flair for pop music and culture. Some of her earliest memories involve her singing along to Beyonce and Britney Spears. Even as she grew older and started to find her own sense of identity within music, her love for pop never expired. She began to dive deeper into the genre and found true love through introspective pop and alternative rock. From then on, she sought out to turn those unfavorable moments of her life into something beautiful and authentic.
